I have been photographing weddings since 2000, which is eighteen years ago as I write this. I have photographed large elaborate events, where people invested a lot of money and time, and simple backyard weddings, where, for financial or other reasons the couple chose to go small in size but big in heart. To me, there is no difference. The key is the connection between the two people in love. My job to be in the moment and capture on camera their love story. Details, gestures, a smile, a tear can communicate what words cannot.

No matter the size, weddings are very personal affairs. For this reason I enjoy meeting with each couple and getting to know them. It is important for me to connect and know what matters to them. Documentary style photography is about authenticity, about capturing the moment as it happens. This makes each frame timeless.

My photography has been recognized through many awards and publications, but the only award that matters is to be able to say that I have connected with each couple and that we established a bond of trust that is reflected in the images. I am grateful to be in touch with so many couples whose weddings I photographed and to watch their lives evolve.
